PVC injection molding flash, poor mold release, color abnormalities and solutions

First, the parting surface is large

The flash edge, also known as overflow edge, burr, etc., mostly occurs in the position of the mold, such as the parting surface of the moving mold and the fixed mold, the sliding part of the slider, the re-industry of the standard, and the ejector hole. Wait.

The reason is that the mold failure or the machine's necking force is invalid. The mold failure mainly refers to the parting surface of the mold and the cooperation between the various moving parts.

Solution:

1 Starting from eliminating mold failures, reducing the coordination between the various moving parts;

2 adjust the machine's collar mechanism and collar force;

3 For the mold with unbalanced gate position and cavity distribution, the position of the gate is changed to balance the force of each part of the mold;

4 reduce injection pressure, flow rate, adjust dwell time and injection time

5 If there is repeated flashing and product dissatisfaction, it is likely to be caused by uneven feeding and unstable pressure;

6 The mold is not well exhausted, causing the mold to expand during the injection, and the parting surface flash is generated, and the exhaust groove is added on the parting surface.

 

Second, the product is not properly demoulded

It refers to the phenomenon that the product is often difficult to eject or infiltrate the fixed mold. The reason is that the injection pressure and speed are too high, the product is not filled, the speed of ejection is too fast, the part of the ejector ear is too thin, the draft of the mold is not enough, and the cooling time is too long.

Expressed in three forms.

1 product permeates the fixed mold;

2 products remain in the moving mold;

3 the gate can not be pulled out.

Solution:

1 For the product to seep on the fixed mold, reduce the injection pressure, speed, shorten the cooling time, open the groove on the core to increase the friction, etc.

2 For the phenomenon that the product stays in the moving mold, adjust the ejection speed of the ejector pin, thicken the thickness of the contact part of the ear protector, check whether the core retreats to the limit, etc.

3 If the gate cannot be pulled out, increase the pulling port at the ejector pin to reduce the injection speed and pressure.

 

Third, the product color is not normal

It refers to the phenomenon that the product is reddish, yellowish, greenish and grayish.

The reason is

1 barrel temperature is too high, excessive plasticization;

2 raw material stability is not good;

3 differences in formula hue;

4 the replacement of a certain raw material causes a change in hue;

5 The discharge temperature is too high.

Solution:

1 reduce the temperature of the barrel, slow down the pressure and flow of plasticization;

2 switch to relatively stable raw materials;

3 adjust the formulation system to improve the hue of the formula;

4 stop using the raw materials or make corresponding adjustments on the formula;

5 lengthening the cold mix time of the sample.
